Vacancy : PCB Design Engineer

Type of employment:

  • Contract, part-time, freelance, project-by-project.

 

Responsibilities:

  • PCB design using Cadence Allegro PCB Designer with constraint-driven approach
  • Schematic capture including embedded layout constraints
  • Parts library creation and maintenance using OrCAD Capture CIS
  • SI analysis of critical nets
  • Analog simulation of electronic circuits
  • Thermal analysis of PCB and complete system
  • Creation manufacture and assembly package for PCB fabrication
  • Production support of existing products
  • Implementation of changes into existing designs: replacing obsolete components and updating complete manufacturing package (schematic, libraries, BOMs, assembly drawings, PCB layout files, etc.)
  • Complete design of simple interface PCBs and cable assemblies (from concept, circuitry design to manufacturing package generation)

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience with Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture.
  • Experience with signal length and impedance matching.
  • Experience in 16+ layer high-speed PCB design.
  • Experienced user of electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators.
  • Understanding of Mechanical Engineering for the purpose of PCB packaging into enclosure.
  • Exposure to SolidWorks.
  • Experience in multi-PCB system design
